Poonjar Thekkekara Grama PanchayatPoonjar Thekkekara Grama Panchayat is a local self-government institution in Meenachil Taluk of Kottayam District, comprising the villages of Poonjar Thekkekara and Poonjar Nadubhagam under Erattupetta Block.The Panchayat has an area of 60.86 square kilometres. It is bounded by Theekoy Grama Panchayat on the north; Parathodu and Koottickal Grama Panchayats on the south; Koottickal Grama Panchayat on the east; and Poonjar Grama Panchayat on the west.The Poonjar Panchayat was established in 1953.
